Michigan Business Group (MBG) is a student-run organization at the University of Michigan that empowers driven students to explore consulting, finance, marketing, and more. Through hands-on projects, real-world investing, and high-impact professional development, we equip future leaders with the skills, network, and confidence to thrive across industries.
What We Do
The Michigan Business Group is a student-run organization dedicated to introducing members of the University of Michigan community to the world of business: consulting, marketing, finance, accounting, and more.
The main goal for our members is to learn how business can fit into their individual careers. MBG gives young students hands-on experience in real-world business situations, teaches them about the various industries within the business and builds a networking community through a variety of events and activities. Members have the opportunity to participate in semester-long projects, such as client consulting sessions or investment fund management of MBG’s $20K+ fund, and present their findings.
